Michell Cup

Peterhouse Boat Club has won the Michell Cup, for the best all-round performance by a College Boat Club, a total of four times.

The Michell Cup was first won in PBC's centenary year, 1928, largely on the basis of 21 bumps that year. The Michell Cup was also won the following year, 1929. More recently, the PBC won the Michell Cup in 1956, the club's annus mirabilis, after winning the Fairbairns Cup, going Head of the River in Lents, and winning their oars in the Mays, not to mention winning the Ladies' Challenge Plate at Henley Royal Regatta.

PBC last won the Michell Cup in 1975 under the Captaincy of P.C. Dracott.
